The Highest Score - 10!


Sovetsky Sport. July 20, 1971. Thirteen-year-old Nina Dronova from Georgia won the championship on all four apparatuses in the finals of the V Spartakiad of the Peoples of the USSR in gymnastics among boys and girls. Moreover, for her brilliant performance on floor exercises, she received the highest score - 10 points! Minsk resident Vladimir Shchukin won the high bar and floor exercises. Valery Airapetyan from Yerevan was the best on vault, and his teammate Vachagan Ter-Meliksetyan won on rings. Leningrader Vitaly Khokhlov received the highest mark for his pommel horse routine. Alexander Ulyanov from Kazakhstan was the best on parallel bars.
