• Kardos (USA) fell off B after a back walkover, back tuck.

• Schwandt vaulted a layout Tsukahara and a tuck front.

• Filatova (URS) and Mukhina (URS) vaulted a layout Tsukahara and a full-twisting tucked Tsukahara in EF.

• Mukhina tumbled a full-in and a 1.5 twist through to double back on FX.

• Schwandt attempted a double tuck on FX during EF.

• An unnamed gymnast on the USSR's alternate team tumbled a front handspring, Rudi, FF, FF, double back.

• An unnamed gymnast on the USSR's alternate team performed a front handspring, front tuck on B.
